Commonwealth Games welcomes hosting bids

The Commonwealth Sport organisation has received expressions of interest from seven nations following the confirmation that Glasgow will host the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Canada, India, and Nigeria have publicly confirmed interest in hosting the 2030 edition, which will mark the 100th anniversary of the Commonwealth Games. New Zealand is among the nations considering a bid for 2034.

Pakistan plans $200,000 squash event next year

President Sindh Squash Association Adnan Asad has said he would organize a squash event with the prize money of 200,000 dollars next year in Karachi.

“We have planned this big event in January next year here in Karachi and a technical director of the world squash body has already inspected the venue in this regard,” said Adnan while talking to the media.
